Groomio is a digital platform that connects pet owners with grooming salons across Croatia.

The client was unsure about the digital roadmap and how to turn their vision into a functional product.

Our first goal was to create a brand that reflects what Groomio stands for, and then build a digital product that serves both customer groups.

Logo Design

It all started with Fifi, and so did the logo. A black spot on her face sparked the idea to use a motif that will have a clear connection to the Groomio brand.

The motif is the location icon designed in a specific way – it shapes the snout to resemble Fifi’s smiley face while playing with positive and negative space.

The logo is simple yet charming. With the combination of pink as the background color, the logo feels inviting and friendly.

Visual Identity & Website

To achieve the desired look & feel, we used specific keywords (connotations) that describe the visual language of Groomio.

Keywords: Playful • Cozy • Clarity • Humble • Unisex • Softness

The illustration style, color, circular shapes, and rounded corners visually convey the playful aspect.

The modern sans-serif font and the typography treatment add character while remaining legible and easy to read, which is very important for a web application.

Illustration System

We’ve created an illustration system that allows the client to easily create countless variations.

The illustrations are made with simple vector shapes that can be quickly edited in terms of colors and by selecting different graphic elements.

We also created custom scene illustrations that are used throughout the website. The vector format allows for great scalability and usage for both digital and print media.
